PhD Wood Science Jean-Michel Leban currently works at the Department ECOFA from INRAE, the new public research institute launched in Januray 2020, resulting from the merger of the former INRA and Irstea. Jean-Michel does research in Wood Science and Forestry. He is fellow of the International Academy of Wood Science, editor of Annals of Forest Science, member of the board of the Scandinavian Journal of Forest Research. His main current project is 'XyloDensMap.' aiming at increasing our ability to assess and predict the carbon storage in the forest biomass at the national level
